From 14-16 of October 2009, was held in Paris the 9th Permanent Conference of the European Capitals Trade Unions. The main issues the Conference dealt with were young people employment and immigration policies. The Conference was organized by the Trade Unions of Paris (Ile-de-France). EKA, which is a founding member of the Permanent Conference was represented by the President Stavy Saloufakou, the Financial Secretary Panagiotis Kouloumparitsis and the responsible of International Relations Christina Theochari. The contribution of EKA to the Conference debates is cited below.
